Now You See Me 2

THE FOUR HORSEMEN (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan) return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY (Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.

When duPont’s favoritism shifts to brother Dave – who possesses the authority and confidence both he and Mark lack – the trio is propelled towards a tragedy no one could have foreseen.

17-year-old Manhattan student Lisa Cohen (Anna Paquin), whilst shopping on the Upper West Side, interacts with bus driver Jason Berstone (Mark Ruffalo) as she runs alongside a moving bus; he allows himself to become distracted whilst driving leading to a fatal accident, in which a pedestrian (Allison Janney) is hit by the bus and subsequently dies in Lisa’s arms. In collaboration with the victim’s best friend Emily, and cousin Abigail, Lisa ultimately becomes involved in a wrongful death lawsuit against the Metropolitan Transit Authority seeking the dismissal of the driver [who is revealed to have caused two previous accidents] as well as monetary damages which would be awarded to the victim’s next of kin – her cousin. Meanwhile, Lisa’s life takes various turns, including a flirtation with her math teacher Aaron Caije (Matt Damon), her decision to lose her virginity to a school friend, and various vehement debates about politics and terrorism with classmates
