Welcome to Markville Video and Games. We’re part of 400 Movie Experts stores across Canada. Being part of Movie Experts gives us an advantage of having a huge team of business owners who constantly come up with new ideas for improvement. The latest was the re-imaging of a video store, which included the new releases being categorized by themes instead of an alphabetical order. This idea lets our customers browse the new release movies by their favorite genre, which greatly helps out with their final decision for a movie.

Since the store’s opening in 1985, we have accumulated quite a selection of movies, and they even include the VHS. Through our superior customer service, we are able to suggest our customers a great movie and answer any possible questions they may have. From Elvis and Beatles to Wuthering Heights, we have some of the oldest movies available on the market today. And if you’re looking for some of that TV drama we all love so much, check out our TV on DVD section (McDreamy and Bauer are waiting).

E1 Entertainment is Canada’s largest wholesale distributor of CD’s, DVD’s, and Video Games, and they are our main supplier. We can always place a special order for movies and games, which you would like to own and we don’t carry. But make sure to check out our selection of new and previously viewed movies first.

Apart from movies, we have a selection of video games for rent and sale. We even carry a large selection of previously played games for sale at considerably lower prices than new games. If you’re tired of playing the games you own, bring them to us, and we’ll give you store credit which you can use toward anything we sell and rent.

Markville Video and Games has been in our family for over 20 years. In 2005, we decided to give our store a makeover. With renovations gone successful, we now look better than ever. And that’s not all that is new! We now carry an impressive selection of other products such as Ipod accessories, books (Twilight saga of course), As-Seen-On-TV products, Monopoly games, Scene-it? Games, posters, t-shirts, Webkinz, trading cards and more! Haagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s are also here to sweeten your movie night.
